Cognitive bias

Buster Benson (author) takes a stab at the wikipedia page on cognitive bias reorganizing the full list of cognitive biases into four categories:

  • Too much information — we edit and reinforce some memories after the fact.
  • Not enough meaning — we discard specifics to form generalities.
  • Need to act fast —  we reduce events and listen to their key elements.
  • What should we remember — we store memories differently based on how they were experienced.
